Beach Trip

We had a blast this year at our family beach trip. Kendall was too little to spend much time on the beach, but that was OK because Kevin does not enjoy the beach. He and O would rather stay in the house (or play golf) all week. While Kevin watched Kendall in the house, Haley and I got to spend some time on the beach! Kendall's grandmamas took care of her, too, so that Haley and I could play.

Both Kendall and Haley love to be outside. When Kendall was fussy, she almost always calmed down with some rocking on the front porch. She and her daddy got in at least one good nap that way, too.



Haley made me a birthday card! She was so sweet. From the time we arrived at the beach, that was all she could talk about - Marynell helped her make my card.



We had fun dressing Kendall up in her beach attire and accessories;)

Haley had a blast riding a bungee ride down the street from our house. She did this 3 different nights.



As she does with many of her firsts, Kendall slept through her first trip to the water park.



Haley certainly didn't sleep through it, though! She had a blast, and made a few new friends.



Haley had fun on the beach. There weren't many other young kids on the beach, but she did find one little boy to befriend on our last day.



Kendall experienced having her toes in the sand for the first time!



It was a fun week. We were so happy to be there with Marynell, O, Grandmama and Papa. We look forward to going back again soon.
