Happy 3rd Birthday!

I took a day off of work on Friday to spend the day with Haley and celebrate her 3rd birthday. I decorated her doorway with streamers. When she got up, we sat in bed together for awhile and watched her favorite cartoons.



We went to the zoo for one of Haley's classes - it was 'Miss Spider's Tea Party.' We read the Miss Spider book, talked about insects and spiders, and made a silly spider cookie before our tea party. The kids were supposed to bring a stuffed animal, and Haley brought her Pooh Bear that Marynell gave her for her first birthday.



We spent some more time hanging out at the zoo, but Haley was not very interested in the animals. She seemed happy to just be outside.



Friday evening, we had Haley's grandparents and great grandmamas over for Haley's favorite dinner - pizza! We had cupcakes for desert.



It took a few tries before she blew out her candles, but she got it.







Haley had fun opening her presents. She tore through them. Marynell gave Haley this beautiful blue dress. Haley wanted to try it on right away.



Haley's Grandmama and Papa gave Haley a purple fairy dress with coordinating shoes. Of course, we had to have another wardrobe change ;)
