Haley's 'Big Girl' Bathtub

Haley started sleeping in her 'big girl bed' upstairs a few weeks ago, and I decided to go ahead and start bathing her in her 'big girl bathroom.' I told her 2 or 3 nights ago that she would start taking a bath upstairs soon, and she's asked me about it every night since - she would rather take a bath upstairs then downstairs in our bathroom. So today I moved all her toys, soap, shampoo, etc upstairs and let her take a bath in her big girl bathtub.

She thought this was great. She was SO excited about it. Everything I asked her to do before she got in the bath (put her clothes in the dirty clothes basket, go potty, etc) she did very quickly and willingly because she knew she was going to get to take a bath in her big girl bathroom. Who knew this would be such a big deal?

The advantage for me is that she is actually tall enough to get in and out by herself - I don't have to lift her. And because it's a regular tub (not a garden tub like we have in our master suite), I didn't have to stand and bend over to bathe her.

Who knew taking a bath could be so much fun?
